Job Description
Reporting to the Financial Modelling Associate, the ideal candidate should have extensive experience in financial analysis and modelling. The role will include:
  • Assisting with group’s modelling activities with full oversight across a variety of jurisdictions and markets;
  • Discounted cashflow modelling for asset valuation and investment appraisal.
  • Developing relationships with stakeholders, working alongside industry peers to glean data inputs and stay abreast of all technical modelling matters;
  • Probing into potential financing arrangement scenarios and their implications on the existing group; 
  • Supporting the group’s go-to-market activities, understanding the sales process and due diligence requirements and providing insight throughout the process;  
  • Drive business development, researching market variables across a variety of jurisdictions, assessing viability and opportunities in any new markets identified; and
  • Help build technical knowledge across the wider internal team.
Your profile
  • Strong consulting background or experience gained in a relevant industry role;
  • The successful candidate should have an excellent knowledge of Excel and it’s uses in financial modelling and management;
  • Proven ability to build, interrogate and renew financial models; 
  • Possess strong financial acumen, including an awareness for funding/ financing arrangements and the impact on group modelling;
  • Excellent communication skills including report drafting, delivering presentations and an ability to influence all levels of the business;
  • A professionally recognised finance (e.g. CFA) or accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA) would be an advantage;
  • Knowledge of the renewable energy sector a distinct advantage but not a prerequisite; and
  • The successful candidate should have at least 3-5 years experience.
