Job Description
The Talent Specialist will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top Talent for the Elgin business. Reporting to the Senior Talent and Strategy Manager, the Talent Specialist will work closely with hiring managers and other stakeholders to understand the hiring needs, develop sourcing strategies, and manage the full Talent lifecycle. ​You will join our team on a fixed term contract basis. 

Job Responsibilities 
  • Lead recruiting activities and portions of talent acquisition projects, processes, and programs to fulfill business needs and organisational priorities.
  • Understand the candidate's journey and the moments that matter to ensure best in class experiences.
  • Ensure all Talent Acquisition protocols are effectively administered in a transparent way.
  • Coordinate and administer end to end processes of acquisition including diary management and communications with candidate/manager/agency and business.
  • Utilise Behavioural Interview Guides to ensure consistent questioning and assessment.
  • Explore all routes to attraction/identification of appropriate Talent for roles.
  • Collaborate with the People & Culture team and hiring managers to conduct moderately complex offer negotiations and finalize the hiring process.
  • Champion the brand through effective advertising aligned to the Purpose & Values and collaborate with Hiring Managers to ensure consistency in our approaches.
  • Demonstrate our commitment to Diversity & Inclusion through the full acquisition process, attraction, application, screening, interview, selection, contract terms & onboarding.
Your profile
  • 4 years technical recruiting experience in an in-house or RPO/MSP environment, preferably in the engineering or construction field.
  • Must have strong experience sourcing, screening, and recruiting. 
  • Technical understanding and willingness to learn are more important.
  • Relationship builder and advocate for candidate experience.
  • Must have strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
