Job Description

The Role:
Draughting legal and planning drawings for a large portfolio of large-scale ground mounted Solar PV, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and Co-located projects in UK, Ireland, Germany, Italy, and other jurisdictions. This will also include the organisation and management of drawing files. The role will also include reviewing and management of updates to planning and legal drawings from early-stage development, planning preparation, pre-construction, through to construction.

What you will do:

Compiling planning application drawings for Solar PV, BESS, and Co-located projects.
Obtaining and managing Ordnance Survey data and compiling Land Registry Compliant plans.
Compiling legal plans for Option, Lease, and Easement Agreements. Liaising with relevant stakeholders to progress and finalise maps.
Compiling technical plans for cable route permissions, licences, and permits.
Liaising with all sectors of the company - Development, Construction, Grid, Legal, and Asset Management teams, including external Consultants, Local Planning Authorities, and Statutory Bodies as required.
Organisation and file management of drawing files.
Identifying and problem-solving mapping and drawing anomalies in tandem with various teams in Elgin.

Your profile

What you will need:

Ideally 3-5 years’ experience in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Map3D, GIS, and producing 2D drawings.
Experience in PlantPredict, PVsyst, and PVcase.
Proficient in the use of software packages including MS Office, MS Project etc. Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project.
It would be useful to have knowledge of the development, pre-construction, and construction processes for ground mounted large-scale Solar PV, BESS, and Co-located projects.
Good communication and organisation skills.
High level of self-motivation and ability to work independently and strong time management.
Ability to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders effectively
High focus on setting priorities, keeping up with deadlines, communication, and organizational abilities.
